It’s one thing to see something with your eye and then try to capture the beauty of it on digital film. Well, when I initially looked at this pathway through the trees I saw a portal to another world. The problem is, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t replicate it on the camera. So, I tried as best I could and then I manipulated this just a bit afterwards. It still doesn’t get the feeling that I had when I saw this with my own eyes, but it’s closer.

I like this one because I had tried a couple of just my friend in the background and then I suddenly noticed the beautiful flowers right in front of me. I like the way it looks.

Twig and Berries

Our staff went on a retreat to the Scott Mission Retreat Centre and another staffer and I went on a photo hunt. It was fun. I took this photo a couple of times, and it was this one, with the berries just out of focus and the twig right in front of me out of focus that grabbed me.
