Group Education Options

Group Education opportunities are offered by various Sanctuary staff as a means, specifically, of introducing people to Sanctuary's work but, more broadly, of challenging stereotypes, encouraging awareness of issues relating to street life and poverty, and speaking of the need to care for the marginalized among us. While the following are the most common kinds of education programs which we offer, we are certainly open to discussing additional possibilities with you.

Street Orientation

One hour of Sanctuary Education, Street Outreach experience (approx. 3 hours on streets), one hour of debriefing (questions & answers, etc.) Cost: $10 per person.

Drop-In Orientation

One hour of Sanctuary Education, Drop-In experience (helping in the kitchen, sitting in the drop-in, etc.), one hour of group debriefing after main staff drop-in debrief (questions & answers, etc.) Cost: $10 per person.

Overnight Accommodation

Sleeping on the floor in the main auditorium with a room to store belongings in during the day. Access to the kitchen, washrooms and showers. $7.00 per night/per person.
